Sustainable Food on Every Kitchen Table
Sugarsnap strives to nourish our community, environment and economy through great food. We prepare tasty, housemade foods, using only the best ingredients. We grow a wide variety of herbs, greens, peas (of course), tomatoes and other vegetables on our three acre farm in Burlington's Intervale.
We maintain our own three-acre farm where we grow a wide variety of heirloom vegetables and culinary herbs. And we purchase meat, dairy and other products from other Vermont farmers. We take great pride in making everything from scratch, from scones and cookies to soups and entrees.
Our farm-based take-out restaurant - specializing in wholesome food made from scratch using farm-fresh, seasonal vegetables, eggs and meat - is located at 505 Riverside Avenue at the entrance to the Intervale, where you'll find 350 acres of farmland, nursery, trails, and wildlife corridors along the Winooski River.
